Australia University Tour: Explore Sydney & Melbourne Universities
This Australian university exploration program helps students imagine their next academic chapter through guided visits to leading institutions in Sydney and Melbourne. Beyond learning about undergraduate options and admissions pathways, students gain on-the-ground insights into research, leadership, innovation, and the distinct character of each campus. By exploring the neighbourhoods, city precincts, and everyday settings that shape student life, from Sydney’s harbourfront to Melbourne’s academic districts, participants develop a practical understanding of what studying abroad in Australia could look and feel like.
Day 1
Morning: Arrive in Sydney, where the group will be met on arrival and transferred by private coach to the hotel in the city.
Afternoon: Enjoy a light orientation to Sydney with a walk around Circular Quay and The Rocks, giving students their first introduction to the city and its atmosphere as one of Australia’s leading study destinations. In the late afternoon, the group will attend a short Study in Australia briefing, covering the Australian university system, undergraduate pathways, and what students can expect from the week ahead.
Evening: Welcome dinner at a local restaurant, followed by a gentle stroll along the harbourfront for first impressions of Sydney by night.
Sample Itinerary
Day 2
Morning: Visit the University of Sydney for a guided campus tour and introductory session. The visit will focus on undergraduate study options, student life, admissions pathways, and the experience of studying at one of Australia’s most prestigious universities.
Afternoon: Transfer by private coach to UNSW Sydney for a second campus perspective. This visit will highlight the university’s global outlook, innovative teaching environment, and the breadth of academic choices available to undergraduate students.
Evening: Enjoy dinner in Darling Harbour, followed by a relaxed evening walk to experience Sydney by night and give students time to absorb the day’s university visits.
Day 3
Morning: Transfer to Sydney Airport and fly to Melbourne.
Afternoon: Arrive in Melbourne, transfer to the hotel, and check in. Later, spend the afternoon exploring Federation Square and the surrounding CBD precinct, giving students their first introduction to Melbourne’s city atmosphere and student-friendly urban environment.
Evening: Dinner in Southbank, followed by a relaxed walk along the Yarra River for a low-key first evening in Melbourne.
Day 4
Morning: Visit The University of Melbourne for a guided campus tour and introductory session. The visit will focus on undergraduate study options, academic excellence, student life, and the experience of studying at one of Australia’s leading universities.
Afternoon: Spend the afternoon exploring the Parkville and Carlton precincts, including Carlton Gardens and Lygon Street, to give students a feel for Melbourne’s academic atmosphere and day-to-day student life beyond the campus itself.
Evening: Dinner on Lygon Street, followed by a play in Melbourne’s East End theatre district as a cultural evening experience.
Day 5

Day 6

Afternoon: Have lunch before departing for Melbourne Airport.
