Amazing Things Happen Outside of the Classroom

Founded 25 years ago, Beyond Classrooms was created by an international team of educators who recognised the need for school travel to be designed intentionally around learning outcomes rather than tourism experiences.

Over the years, we have delivered programs for schools across Asia, Europe, North America, South America, and Oceania, continually refining our educational approach through real-world implementation and educator feedback.

All of our programs are curated around learning principles such as Kolb’s theory of experiential education, problem based learning, and game based learning theories.

Our team has a combined 100,000 hours of teaching experience. Beyond Classrooms is the ultimate solution for learning outside the classroom and school trips abroad.

Real Education Outcomes

One student who visited Mai Chau in Northern Vietnam shared that service learning helped them better understand and connect with the community, changing how they viewed giving back.

During a program in Taipei, a student reflected on the cultural differences between cities and how it broadened their perspective on people, pace of life, and community identity.

Students participating in an animal conservation program in Malaysia noted the gap between policy protection and real-world implementation, gaining a deeper understanding of conservation challenges and local economic impact.

Jing Wang — Kensington Wade School, London

"Students returned from the trip with a broader sense of identity, greater independence, and increased curiosity about the world."

Derek Luebbe — American International School Cairo

"Students developed stronger collaboration skills and built connections beyond their usual social groups."

Alissa Gouw — International School of Dongguan (ISD)
