Seoraksan Hiking Journey

Seoraksan’s mountain trails offer students a setting to explore the connections between biodiversity, cultural traditions, and environmental responsibility. This South Korea school trip combines guided hiking with conservation learning, introducing students to the people and practices involved in caring for mountain ecosystems.

Beyond the trails, students discover regional food traditions through tofu making in Gangneung and experience Buddhist temple life at Naksansa. Across the five-day program, navigation activities, shared challenges, and guided reflection encourage students to practice teamwork, take responsibility, and consider their relationship with the natural world.
